Install Custom Theme Effects in Nokia 5800! (updated)

Hey friends as in my earlier post i explained you how to install custom theme effects in nokia 5800. It was a complicated method so i found a new method of installing theme effects. There is an application called as ChangeFX:

First of all download these files:

Now install changeFx in your 5800.

Note:Your phone should be hacked in order to use this application.

Refer to this post for hacking your nokia 5800.

Make sure installserver patch is enabled in your cellphone

Now extract the theme effects.rar archive in Changefx folder in your memory card.

Now open rompatcher and apply open4all and c2z patch.

You can download c2z maker from here.

Now open changeFx application and you can easily change the theme effects.

Hacking Nokia 5800 v60.0.003 and other versions!

Hacking a symbian phone means enabling a symbian cell phone to install unsigned applications.

Symbian applications need to be signed in order to be installed in a symbian cell phone. The applications are signed by the application provider. Some applications are custom developed and are kept unsigned. Those applications can be signed by online certificate providers eg. Symbian Signed or OPDA. But this takes a long process about 1 to 3 days. Then they provide us a cert and key file which will be used to sign the applications. But this method is not very convenient as takes couple of hours and an application or software to sign applications. So the more convenient way is hacking your device. So there are two ways to hack Nokia 5800 cell phone.

Method 1 :

First download these files:

Connect your Nokia 5800 in Mass storage mode to your pc or laptop.
Now unpack Quarantine Drivers to your memory card..
Now install the DrWeb 6 in your device.
Click on Cancel and then click on Options and then Quarantine.
Go to options –> Select all
Now click on options—> Restore..
Now rompatcher drivers are in c\sys\bin folder.
Now install RomPatcher+ 3.1 Lite.
Now unpack the Patches archive.
Paste the unpacked files in e:/Patches.
Now disconnect your cell phone from your pc.
Now open Rom Patcher. and apply installserver patch.
Now you can install any unsigned app.

Method 2:

First download the following file:

NortonHackLDD

Extract the archive.
install NortonSymbianHackLDD.sis
Launch
Go Options- Anti-Virus - Quarantine list
Go Options - Restore All, accept prompt
Exit application, delete from App manager (Symantec Symbian Hack). Also delete c:\shared\ folder.
Install RomPatcherPlus_3.1_LiteVersion.sisx from hack archive
Launch and apply patches:

- Open4all for full access to file system

- Installserver for installing any unsigned applications ( if red cross - get installserver.exe here)

Set patches to auto if needed (Options - Add to auto)

Congrats your Nokia 5800 is fully hacked.

To unhack your symbian cell phone reinstall the firmware from Nokia Suite.

It is great application to use Facebook on the go. We can also chat with friends with this application. Sometimes the application takes long to load news feed which is a minor disadvantage but the interface is pretty good.

It is application used for playing videos of various formats like avi, mp4, flv, 3gp etc. It also displays subtitles with format like:

One of my favorite apps. It is the best application I have ever used for killing my applications. It saves my battery and has an auto kill feature. To use its autokill feature:
Click on menu button
Select Settings
Select Autokill Level and Frequency.
For better results select frequency to "When Screen Off" and Security Level to "Low" .
Note: It may kill your background applications so uncheck those apps from application home!

Opera Mini

It is a fast web browser and developed for fast and smooth web browsing.

It gives us a fast tabbed browsing for better experience and cool browsing. This app does not take more memory of your android device. So it is the best browser for your android device.

CPU Spy

It is an app designed to provide real time statistics of your processer. It is great app as it lets you know that what is using your battery. Here are its few screenshots:

Jquery image fade in effect for blogger!

Another cool effect using jquery . It us an amazing plugin for highlighting your buttons anywhere. You can even use this for adding bookmarks to your blog which will be discussed in the next post.

Installing xperia x10 development drivers in windows 7/XP!

Sony ericsson xperia x10 was first Android device released by Sony Ericsson which had become a very popular device these days. Development drivers are very necessary to flash firmware in your x10. Generally these drivers come packed with a pc companion or seus (sony ericsson update service) . There is some software conflict in windows 7 that it could not install drivers by itself. So if. you want manual installation adb drivers you can download them from here
After downloading it Right click on "sa0101usb.inf" and click on install. If this method does not work then you need to edit the file and enter hardware ids in last of the document.
To do this follow the steps:
Open the adb drivers folder
Right click on sa0101usb.inf and click open with and select Wordpad
Now scroll down and you should see a page lke this:

Now go to device manager from My computer---> Properties and then Hardware.
Point towards SEMC HSUSB Device and click properties:

Now got to Details Tab.and from drop down menu select Hardware Ids.
Now add this below both entries %CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install,
And paste them at end of inf file like this:

Save it and install (use manual installation by specifying the directory).
And the driver should work like charm!
